OMG !!!  Year 2014 has a terrible start for me. A roof fell on me! Luckily due to my advanced years I managed to follow my own inner voice - "故其疾如風、其徐如林、侵掠如火、難知如陰、不動如山、動如雷霆".

In life, there is no need for anger and pain. These are for the sentimentalists. When a decision needs to be exercised. Do not argue your view point, although it is perfectly sound to reasonable persons, exercise the Sun Tzu's Art of War immediately. When engaging in a battle, the enemy does not subscribe to reasons as they know they were beyond reasons. They can't engage reasons as they know full well that they must be unreasonable to start a battle. They would just stick to their monochromatic view point and totally ignore your plight, they will just knife it into your throat.

You have two choices:  

One, become angry and kick up a ruckus. You wouldn't win as they had expected you to do so. They would hold on to your two ding dongs and play their hard ball game.

Two, calmly declare that the situation is new to you and you needed time to react. Ask for time. Ask for their new and unreasonable terms. Pretend to bargain as hard as you possibly can so that they think that they had you hooked line and sinker. Move slightly away and get time alone. Plot the reaction. You must sound extremely calm and since the new situation is going to get you, you need to ask for external help. Ask them for time to locate external help and feedback some time later. Ask for a deadline as late as possible without sounding insincere. Accept some of the terrible terms as if you have no choice, try very hard to reject the other terms. The key to this is that you are trying to bargain. By bargaining, they will feel secure.

Move away for some time alone. Plot a time line that is just short of the actual deadline.

Return with all smiles and said that your friends are great pals. Your friends are with you all the way. But, their help is going to be marginally beyond the deadline agreed on earlier. The enemy will begin to savor the important victory although it might come a little later than expected.

With that concession, immediately move 75% of your pieces out of harm's way. The enemy wouldn't complain as they felt they can still hold on to your 25%. Start to spread thinly all your assets across the entire boundary. Give the illusion you are staying on their terms of contract.

Over the remaining period, remove your assets 5% at a time under their noses. Potentially you might lose the final 5%, but in all warfare, you can't expect not to lose any assets. Just give the illusion that you are still very much engaged.

On days just before the actual and original deadline (not the negotiated later one), move out totally and restart your life with another proprietor.

This is the tactics used by Sun Tzu as he must stay as still as the mountain and move in one SINGLE stroke as swift as the thunderclap. Only then, can you return least harmed.

This roof falling was fun. It tested simply my ability to react to situation. I have matured over time and life.

• Sheep -
  • It takes about 1/4 to 1/2 acre of good grass, 500-900 pounds of hay, and 100 pounds of grain to support one sheep for a year. Those building more slowly hold female babies until they, too, are pregnant and worth their initial purchase price. The return on investment ranges from Stewart's 50 percent annually to 10 percent for those unfortunates with scrubby stock. 
• All this breeding is leading toward a fleece market -- but not for 20 to 40 years, Stewart estimates. As secretary of the Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association, he points to literature claiming ranchers sell their fleece to artisans for $2 to $4 an ounce. Fiber thickness counts also influence price: get it too coarse and the price starts to slide. Shared shearing times flood this tiny market, driving the price down. Some alpaca farmers work around this by spinning their own fibers, knitting the sweaters and marketing the apparel on the Internet. "Part of it is luck, and the other part is we treat it as a business that takes work. You don't get rich quick on a legitimate business enterprise.
• Chicken -
  • An animal rights organization is urging to take a firm stand against what it calls “shocking animal cruelty” captured on a graphic video it says was taken at two chicken farms. The hidden-camera video shows hens crowded in battery cages, and chicks being violently smashed by workers and thrown into garbage bags. “They’re so crammed inside those cages they can’t spread their wings, they can’t walk, they can’t turn around, they can’t engage in any of their natural behaviour,” said the whistle blower. “They spend one year of their miserable life in there, basically producing eggs and after that time period, they’re considered spent by the industry because their productivity is declined, and then they’re slaughtered.”
  • Chicken farming requires loads of capital to start. The land size is small, so not an issue. I am not into heavy capitalization. Most heavy capitalization projects always fail on me.
• Turkey -
  • In factory farming, each turkey receives less than three square feet. After they hatch, turkeys have the ends of their beaks cut off to prevent them from attacking each other in their crowded, unnatural conditions. No anesthesia or painkiller is used. This process, which is known as “debeaking”, has been compared to having your lips or the ends of your fingers cut off, and deprives the birds of one of their most important sources of sensory input. A debeaked bird cannot eat properly or explore her environment fully, nor can she preen herself or her flockmates. She may also experience acute and chronic pain in her beak, head, and face.
  • Debeaking is only one of the mutilations performed on turkeys. They also have their toes cut off; when they are one-day old, a pair of "five-inch surgical shears" is used to clip off "the tip of the toe...including all of the toenail." The snood--the colourful, fleshy appendage that hangs over a turkey's beak--is also cut off, often with no more than a pair of scissors. Like debeaking, all of these tasks are performed without anesthesia, and they appear to result in acute and chronic pain. Dozens of turkey chicks in a rotating debeaking machine. Turkey hatchlings are debeaked without painkillers. 
  • Turkeys in modern factory farms have been genetically engineered and pumped with antibiotics; as a result they grow much faster than ever before. For example, in the 1960's, it took a turkey 32 weeks to reach slaughter size, but now it takes only 13-16 weeks.
  • Like chicken farming, the capital requirement is great.
• Hog -
  • As to how much land for a pig, we currently have about 200 pigs of varying ages on about 10 acres divided into paddocks. 
  • Still, he’s worried about their future. In his forty years of raising hogs, Vincent said he’s never seen the swine industry struggle as much as it has the last few years. “I have never experienced a more difficult period [for producing pork] than the period we’re living right now,” he said. It’s tough times for the hog industry. Since five years ago, producers and processors have been seeing red as grain prices soar, hog prices fall.
  • Hog farming requires loads and loads of capital to start. The land need is small. So better don't play this game.
• Cattle -
  • Where I live in Ireland, many farmers are part-time farmers, with a regular day job, and cattle can be managed in the morning and evening. We estimate one livestock unit (1 cow or 1.5 sheep) per acre. We have good grass. Places with poorer grass need many more acres, which is why Australian farms are so huge. They have very poor soil with poor grass. the size of the average US producer (is) 32 cows. Profits are not always made every year. The land requirement is huge.
  • Running expenses are very high. 
• Horse -
  • It was much like any other horse sale, said an auctioneer; chatty farmers and ranchers packed the bright blue stands to watch about 60 horses be led across a thick sawdust floor to be sold to the highest bidder. Sales in the small auction house are much as they’ve always been. Cowboy hats are still a common sight and a good market is half social event, half business. The only thing that’s changed is the price. These days, the only people making a profit seem to be the line cooks handing out fried foods at the concession stand. 
  • “It was a good night,” the auctioneer said after the crowd had left. “But it’s like pulling teeth trying to get someone to bid.” Of the five dozen horses that went up for auction, the auctioneer predicted about 50 were sold for meat. And not for much, even at that. “It was definitely lower. The prices were 20 cents a pound lower than a month ago.” That’s another bad week, and the horse breeders have had plenty. 
  • As Europe reels at growing tales of equine meatballs and mislabeled lasagna — on Friday, Britain’s food regulator said testing had found horsemeat in ground beef at Taco Bell outlets — ranchers here are dealing with an entirely different disaster. The two local horsemeat processing plants have all but shut operations – a slowdown that’s expected to last until next week, at least.   • An average of between 1 and 3 acres of land per horse. The land need is very high.
• Deer -
  • We became deer farmers because of our interest and obvious appreciation of the animal. For us, whitetail deer are an enigma and an enjoyment to farm. They are low maintenance, and require less labour and feed than the traditional cattle herd. 
  • Pastures can normally carry 6-8 mature does and their offspring for each beef cow/calf pair. They are browsers, not grazers, and their feed consumption decreases in winter months. They are hardy, intelligent and adaptable to our weather. They are highly productive and generally have twins and often triplets, making deer a good investment with an above-average rate of return. This investment can be maintained on less acreage and poor quality land unsuitable for other types of farming. 
  • Money can be made in this industry. Good! Finally, a section of agriculture that can be self-sustaining, that may see some profit in a well-run farming operation. Is there money to be made in cattle? You bet, in a well-run farming operation. In any one province which is facing farm crisis, the economic benefits of diversification are a necessary and valuable source of salvation for the family farm. 
  • A fallow deer doe-fawn unit requires approximately 0.4 acres of good quality pasture. The land need is not too bad.
  • This is my favourite. Even if it doesn't turn a profit. I have already ear-marked this business-type.
• Bee -
  • Beekeepers are troubled by the silence. The familiar summertime buzz of bees hovering over the lush cherry blossom trees is noticeably absent. The flowers sit untouched. "This is extremely unusual for this being a bee farm, there are no bees here. This is really sad." This increasingly familiar scene, which is playing out across North America and Europe, worries beekeepers, farmers and scientists who have been tracking the collapse of honeybee colonies over the past decade. Another bad year for honey bees as EU pushes through restrictions to protect bees. In the process, two main camps have emerged, vigorously debating the root causes of the decline. A debate rages over whether the death of many honey bees in recent years is the result of a mite infestation or pesticide use. Some scientists and insecticide companies suggest the bees are being overrun by an infestation of mites, while other observers suggest seeds coated with neonicotinoid insecticide – or "neonics" – are to blame. It's a puzzle with huge implications. Bees and other pollinators are responsible for ensuring most fruit and vegetable crops around the world mature into food. Most sources suggest about one-third of the food we eat is reliant on pollinators, and Bloomberg Business Week estimates bee pollination affects "$200 billion worth of crops annually." 
  • The land need is very small, but you need a huge farm land  to prevent neighbours from complaining about the bees.
  • The capital cost is very low, apply this business-type with other large land needs.
• Log -
  • Growing trees for profit is an ideal part-time or full-time business for anyone who enjoys being outdoors and working with plants. Trees are a valuable and renewable resource that can be grown in a tiny backyard or on a 100 acre tree farm. The most profitable trees for most small growers are those in demand by buyers, are reasonably easy to grow, and bring above-average prices when sold. Unlike traditional trees sold for saw logs and pulp, high-value trees are sold at retail prices to homeowners and landscapers, hobbyists who use the wood or tree shoots to make everything from baskets to guitar backs, or trees planted for their valuable fruits and nuts.
  • Sorry is the rude word. It takes at least 40 years to grow a tree for sale. The capital investment cost is extremely low, but you might not have the life-time to earn it. You just need to buy the land.
  •  You may plant up to 1,800-2,500 per 100 acres.
  • This is a good generations game. Do check out the government-of-the-day's interest. They might cut you off on the farm land ownership. So do exercise great caution.
• Fruit/Nut -
  • A few years ago, Bill Lancaster bought six acres of sagebrush and rocks in eastern Washington state with the idea of creating a natural grove of nut trees. “They told me I was crazy to try to grow nut trees here,” he said. But now his neighbours are buying nut trees from him! His 4 acre grove of trees resembles a natural forest. Walnuts and Chinese Chestnuts, planted on a 60 foot spacing, form the upper story of the grove. Filberts, which grow well in partial shade, fill in the 20 foot high lower story. There are also peach, plum and pear trees planted in the sunny corners and edges of the grove. Grape vines are trellised around the edge of the grove.Bees from his own hives do the pollinating, and peafowl patrol for insects in the grove. The grove is just reaching it’s prime, producing 8,000 pounds of nuts each year. But the nut and fruit tree grove is only part of Bill’s cash crop income. On the remaining 2 acres, he grows tree seedlings and grafted trees in a backyard nursery, his most profitable plants. His trees are such high quality, they are sold out for two years in advance. Bill says this grove could produce for another 50 years, with very little further work.
  • This is a good consideration. This is a low cost and low land need business-type. 
• Crop - Crops require huge machinery and huge land need. So don't talk about turning in a profit, it will bankrupt you first through capital purchases. Unless you aim for specialist crops like some of the passion businesses discussed so far.

After a simple analysis of the business-types in farm land, notice everything also cannot do. This is the beauty of business-type exploration. Everything don't sound right. Everything don't sound possible. This is the exact dilemma that a person would face. Everywhere is road block, everywhere is impossible and non-profitable. This is exactly what the people already in the business-type would like you to believe that there is no way into their business-type. So be patient, 廟算 is your only chance to succeed.

Don't despair. Build your own reality. If you must cry, by all means be my guest. I cry loads too. There is no embarrassment. Just watch silly shows like 非诚勿扰 would immediately wake your fucking ideas up. There is no love without the dollar sign. Sad? I know. There is no true love, at least for me. The gals in 非诚勿扰 even suggested their bullshit of catching a 柔情铁汉 to depict a man who is very strong in making money but easy on the money for the damsel-in-distress. The gals simply thought that the 柔情铁汉 would fall for the dumb broads like them. LOL. I simply must watch the eventual "happy endings" of these gals after they have gotten hitched.

If you that good, the whites would be clamouring to work for you. The sound of pigeon English amongst the pure English accent is gold.

b.Resource - Planning

In yellowskin's land, the land are classified in the following versions:
"三通一平" （通水、通电、通路、平整土地）、
"五通一平" （通水、通电、通路、通气、通讯、平整土地）、
"七通一平"（通水、排水、通电、通路、通讯、通暖气、通天燃气或煤气、平整土地）

Water 通水
If you have a stream or lake or waterfall within your compound, you are free to suck these water for your own use. But, the surface water is normally not as clean. You will probably need to filter and soften-treat it. Sometimes, the water is salted too. Digging a well is a much better choice for a water resource. The underground water is a lot cleaner and requires less filtration and treatment. Digging wells interestingly is not as complicated an affair. You just need to get a few quotes and normally, they are relatively cheap to do. Hence, if you buy a piece of land that has no ready water resource, it is never a serious deal-breaker.

The bare land cost after accounting for water well digging is still way cheaper than those land that already have wells or town water and a fairly good chance you don't even need to pay for its use, i.e., free water. If you are in luck, you might can even hope for a hot spring in your area.

Power 通电
This requirement might be a deal-breaker if you seriously want to stay in it. One possibly option is to stay nearby in a small town and travel daily to the land for your needs. Most applications such as digging or working can be solved using diesel tanks. Without power, the lifestyle is greatly limited. Owners exact very high price for this requirement. The land cost without power and land cost with power on its curb side is almost double or triple.

Some yellowskins solved this requirement by starting a power farm by providing solar panels on his own land. These power generators can then provide power to surrounding grid. But, this cunning-ness is not clever enough for most use.

If power is so important, buy a small diesel generator. It can supply enough power for most uses. The diesel tanks are refilled on a fixed period from existing truckers.

The worst option is to pull the power lines to your land. Just pay lor.

Gas 通天燃气或煤气
This requirement is totally not critical if the power requirement is handled. Heating using natural gas and using electrical power only cause marginal cost differentials. Using gas requires venting. Else, if breathe in too much carbon monoxide over a long extended period will cause massive brain damage. Hence, gas requirement is normally not critical, hence, never consider a deal-breaker.

Heat 通暖气
In established industries, they even have area-wide supply of stream as an option. But, this is hardly a requirement, if the power option is already addressed.

Sewerage 排水
This is also not a deal-breaker. Common portable sewerage treatment plant is available by just buy and put in place. The usage is for 10 years and renewable by removing the shit. The cost is also not extensive. You just have to buy and put.

Internet 通讯
Surprisingly, this requires power. So you must first settle the power requirement. Else, you can only rely on your mobile cell phone. There is always another option - an expensive option - connect through satellite internet or raise a tall tower for line-of-sight connection. OR work without internet at the land and use internet only after you return to your small town to sleep. As long as you don't watch movies, you can still skype with little problem.

Road 通路
If your land is large enough, it is not unusual for roads to have reach the land curb side. Just wait long enough, you will get your power requirement by the wire. But, if your land is in say, Malaysia, you might encounter some problem in access. Freehold land prices in Malaysia is still quite reasonable. So buy cautiously, with patience, you can get them at about RM$2,000-5,000 per acre. This is not a deal-breaker.

Post 通邮
This is a rather inconvenient option. It is not unusual for postal service to refuse sending snail mails to your land. You will need to rent a post box in a small town to receive your snail mails. This is not a deal-breaker.

Land 平整土地
This is just a treatment issue. If you want it to be a farm land, you will need to pay for the levelling. If not, you just have to bear with the landscape. Prepared land and unprepared land is 100% difference in prices. This is not a deal-breaker.

House
Just go and buy a cheap second-hand mobile home (very cheap anyway) and move it to the land. This is a simple plug-and-play. This is not a deal-breaker.

Zoning
Only that fucken little island has zoning. It is easy in most places to change the zone, i.e., the land use type.

To sum, only power is the only tricky requirement. Play with it long enough. You will find a way out.

When buying land, do consider the above issues, the key guiding principle is not to be overwhelmed by these factors. Every factor can be resolved using money. The question is always about balance. Buy anything within the city/major town limits, you will get everything, but the price you pay would be surprising too high. It can't be that these land owners are going to give you a nice break. Not a chance in the century. They make sure they punish you for being lazy.

Dealing with grand chieftains is a serious matter. One cannot treat it lightly.

I must now count the alignment of the stars tonight and predict my fate of the coming meeting.

Meditation is the order of the day and I must now fast in my temple ... The battle is nigh and the time has come once again for me to don my body armour ...

p.Strategy - How to survive in White Land

Tomorrow is an important day for me. I am going to the white chieftains to buy their wares. It is going to be a very hard bargain ahead. How easy and difficult I not yet know. But, I should be able to feel their strengths soon enough.

Playing in the white land is really tough if you just simply think about it. You don't know any one. They don't care about giving you jobs. They just want to make you do menial tasks that they themselves shunt. They don't hang out with you. They don't even invite you for coffee, let alone Halloween or Christmas party.

You might have bought them drinks. But, they will never buy back. You were all the time wondering what has gone wrong? Your own yellowskins tried like hell to con you. The shitskins are too many and smell bad even at -50degC.

If you try to engage them, whites or shitskins in the earnest, what you get is only pure disappointment. When you hit that pit-stop, you will simply give up and think about returning to your ex-home country, that fucken little island. When you do that, you are nowhere to survive in that fucken little island ever again. You are now ostracized even by your own fuckens. Sad, isn't it?

Welcome to reality, my friend. This is immigration at its best. To stay is shit, to leave and return to little hole is shit. Then how?

That's why all the gals who happily went ahead with the immigration will happily blog about how happy they were when they landed, but diappeared totally when shit hit their walls. This is the most cruel joke ever.

Sigh ...

Not many people plan ahead. That's why my partner-in-crime always called me a cunning bastard. I have planned way, way ahead of every one else.

There is no way you can survive without support in the white land. You must have a plan. You don't go into the white land and try to get employment and cheat jobs from the white's hands. No whites will employ the yellowskins if they were to be paid the same. If the yellowskins cost way less and do the nobody-want jobs, sure the yellowskin will be able to survive, but to what ends?

Even after working for a decade without any job promotion, what are you going to achieve except to burn your candle of life for free?

Your kids are also nobodies as they only are clever in mathematics in school. They knew nuts about making in-route to white strongholds. The whites will never accept any yellowskins to their inner circles. You are the kids' father, if you yourself can't do it, what makes you think, your young blur-like-fuck kiddos can make it without experience, money, foundation and help from you, the father?

The solution

Enough said about the problem. In fact, there are even more issues. But, sufficed to say that they are indeed serious and real problems to settle.

The way ahead must therefore to stop talking in white language. Stop learning their ways, haven't you learned enough already? You are no longer young and naive. You can't jump as far nor run as fast as younger lads. Listen to yellowskins' music, shows, songs, articles and works. Fill yourself with things that are familiar to you and you alone.  You will feel loads better. With a strong inner sanctum, you will be able to smile.

Then, start exercising your strength. You came from another shit-hole into this new shit-hole. Both need shit to fill their holes. Do that! Fulfill their needs.

This is your strength. Most of the whites I met have not even travel further that 300 km from their own town. They are too poor to spend. They were so excited when I said I would treat them to a Christmas meal. They jumped up and immediately booked the restaurant in town for our meal. Of course, I am using money to buy affection. Let's not hope that they will treat me back in return. As far as I am concerned, I am only paying for the arm-candy for that Christmas meal. Even if I were to engage a social escort, it would also cost me money lah. So don't stingy-ch over such a small sum. Now these same people will guard my car when I leave for home. Keep my house in order. Check my mails. Don't you think I have gained even more? How often do you see a bunch of whites dinning happily with a single yellowskin, with the yellowskin laughing the loudest?

When you made it, you too will employ only the yellowskins as employees. They will sing yellowskin's songs, act on stage and cook your favourite yellowskin's meal.

You just have to dream big ... of course, must be correctly too ...

Ashley Madison adultery website sued by former employee

A dating website for married people who want to cheat on their spouses is being sued by a former employee who says she damaged her wrists typing up hundreds of fake profiles of sexy women. Doriana Silva is seeking $20 million from Ashley Madison for what she calls the company's "unjust enrichment" at her expense, plus another $1 million in punitive and general damages.

In her statement of claim, Silva — a Brazilian immigrant living in Toronto — says she was hired to help launch a Portuguese-language version of the site and promised a starting salary of $34,000 plus benefits. She was soon asked to create 1,000 "fake female profiles" meant to lure men to the new Brazilian Ashley Madison site — and given only three weeks to complete the work, the document alleges.

"The purpose of these profiles is to entice paying heterosexual male members to join and spend money on the website," it reads. "They do not belong to any genuine members of Ashley Madison — or any real human beings at all."

The allegations have not been proven in court and Ashley Madison has yet to file a statement of defence. The company, which describes itself as a dating service for married people, did not respond to requests for comment.

In her claim, Silva says she didn't question her assignment, and no one at the company suggested there was anything "unlawful or improper" about the alleged phoney profiles. In fact, she was led to believe "that doing so was some sort of a normal business practice in the industry," it says. Had she been aware of the "ethical and legal issues arising in relation to online fraud," Silva would have turned down the work, she alleges in the document.

Creating the profiles "required an enormous amount of keyboarding" and Silva developed severe pain in her wrists and forearms, the claim says. She alleges company brass ignored her complaints and her request for a wrist rest. The pain soon made it impossible for Silva to do her job and she has been unable to work since 2011, the document reads, adding she "remains seriously disabled in many if not all aspects of her life."

In her claim, Silva says the company has refused to grant her workers' compensation or insurance despite an earlier agreement she would be covered, and the costs of physiotherapy and other treatments are adding up.

"Doriana's injuries are permanent and her prognosis is uncertain," the document says.

The suit was filed last year but stalled while the company petitioned the court to strike references to "ethics" and "unethical practices" from the statement of claim. But a Superior Court judge found the references necessary to describe "the factual context in which the injuries were sustained," a decision that was upheld on appeal this month.

You can never base your business proposition through falsehood. You will fall flat on your own face. Business is not a joke. It cannot be taken lightly. Employ falsehood, every joker will tell on you once you show a little promise. These fuckens are too green with envy to let you have a fast ride.

Just read the claim statement, it was not crafted with compensating injury in mind, but to share in that profit margin. Crazy fucking bitch. She will fail in her attempt.

So to believe that being an immigrant is a poor thing. Think again. They will fuck you up good once you show any weakness. To prevent that, make sure you don't dabble in absolute illegality. Bordering illegality on the right side of the law is good, but never walk into the absolute dark side. You have too many enemies to start with.

b.Megatrend - War is Needed

I am feeling prophetic today. Not for showing off but to realize the art of praying in the temple 廟算. Calculations made in the temple is very important.

Like it or not, the deep depression in 1930 started the world war II in 1939 that ended in 1945. This is a major war effort. Thereafter, since 1946, the west has an unprecedented peace and prosperity. While the west was enjoying the prosperity, a cold war with the eastern bloc was fought (1946-1991). This constant war tension was actually good for the west. The west grew from strength to strength.

But, once the cold war ended, the west immediately needed another major war to game. They then started the gulf war I (1990) and gulf war II (2003). Noticed the approximate 10 years' gap.

To date, another 10 years has gone by. The west is now itching for another war. The reason for war is simple. The west needs tons of money to finance their retirement funds. Their greying population is giving the leaders sleepless nights.

Waging war is no different from defamation suits of that fucken little island. Once the war is concluded, the loser would have to owe the victor a huge sum of money which the loser has to honour using their oil reserves. With these cheap resources at the disposal of the west, they can sustain their lifestyle a little longer.

When they feel poor again, approximately every 10 years at the current rate, they will wage another major war.

The trend is obvious. This coincides with the need to take care of the retiring baby boomers. War is therefore very imminent now. They will come out with all kind of excuses to wage one. Once war is waged, the currency will depreciate and the west will have to pay less in terms of debt and net-worth. It is their way of depreciating their currency with no ill side-effect.

Over time, wars would be more and more frequent. So stay with the winning side, i.e., the whites. Go and stay with food produces. Keep cash to buy up more land globally.

The perennial question is if you are that keen in farming, how do you play this game when you are 5000 years too late? Hard work is not counted. A cow is hard-working too, so are your competition.

b.Contract - Gap Down

If you have traded in stocks and shares, you would have come across this phenomenon. But, not many people managed to learn from this tool. Simply because either the traders are too early or too late.  Only after the event, then the traders realised the gaps have happened. But, the traders were seldom part of the fun.

The tempo of  stocks and shares trading is way above that of the land trading, hence, not many opportunities to see these gaps in land deals in real life. Coupled with the fact that the land transaction volume is usually low, many gaps are masked by the general trend of the market. There is therefore a need to come out with a methodology to handle these gaps.

Gaps are extremely profitable.

Land is different from shares. In shares, there would be too many shareholders and each holds identical shares. They will deal with you only through the price mechanism. Land deals are different. Each land, property or building is different. Some have good conditions, some have poor conditions, some have restrictions, some are near the road, some are rural and some are irregularly shaped. Each land simply has too many variables and factors influencing the final selling price. Coupled with the fact that the seller is only an individual, it is thus very easy to play the game.

Land ownership is one of the most expensive assets a person can hold. Hence, he can at most hold a couple. With the fact that these lands are seldomly traded and unupdated present market condition, the owners were extremely inexperienced in transacting a good price. Further the so-called seller agents are turn-coats of the monied buyer. The game is badly one-sided. Of course, one feels bad about reaping the sellers off. But, do rest in the comfort that as a buyer, you are already a late comer in the land game. The land prices have already risen to stratospheric level and you have only just begun. So don't worry too much about fairness. You as a buyer is already unfairly disadvantaged.

There are many reasons behind why the seller wants to sell the land. It could be gambling, no income, illness, sudden need, encashing a good buy and etc. I am not going into any of these, the seller wouldn't tell any way.

Say, for example, a land costs $100. Through very careful survey, when you decide to buy you are already willing to buy the land at its offer price of $100. If this is your first deal, you would be slightly disadvantaged. Trust me, you would show too much interest and the price you finally deal would be bad. Fortunately, you are helped by your initial careful survey, the land is already considered reasonable even at its original selling price. Any discount is considered your year-end bonus.

You don't know if the seller is desperate or still strong. You have to assumed that he is weak. If you return an offer of $80 (20% down), you will normally end up buying at $90 (10% down, mid-point). If you return an offer of $70 (30% down), you will normally end up buying at $85 (15% down, mid-point). Some time ago, I tried returning an offer at 50%. It was a disaster, the seller smelt my insincerity to deal, he stopped bargaining and firmly stuck to his original selling price. I ended up buying the land only at $88 (12% down), hardly any big deal.

Depending on the situation, return a price between $60 to $70 (40% - 30% down), the seller would be very stuck. This return offer is so painful that usually the seller can't sleep. This is a price that the seller would sweat to no end. It is painfully low but yet not low enough for him to feel insulted. If the seller is desperate and he will be sleepless for 30 hours and then he will collapse and gave in. You might end up buying the land at 30-40% discount from its original price. You have achieved a gap down. At its worst case, you will still have a 15-20% discount (100%+70% /2 and 100%+60% /2) from the original selling price. Not too bad.

Sometimes, it is very hard to return at such low price, you will feel bad vibes, ignore these feelings, you need to stay humble and repeat that mantra to the seller agent that you are very poor and the banks are not-yet-your-good-friend. Your seller agent will become your turn-coat in no time. It is extremely difficult to reject a monied man no matter how poor. LOL.

The cunning Asians of course are too smart as they have enough practice.

Caveat Emptor

A friend once asked me why don't I go for the kill since I know the seller is weak? I gave her a good tongue lashing. Never work the seller to the ground. It is very cheap for him to buy poison to do you in, your land would be useless for years to come. It is also too easy for him to buy cement powder to pour down the sewerage on the day of your taking-over. Never play the dangerous game. SunTzu said it is always wise to block three sides of the encirclement leaving an escape route of one side (your desired escape route for the enemy). A standing-to-fight-till-death enemy is worth 10-1 odds. So don't hurt yourself even if you are winning easy.

Be that most poisonous cunning smiling despicable me.

b.Philosophy of Business

Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems, such as those connected with reality, existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language. Philosophy is distinguished from other ways of addressing such problems by its critical, generally systematic approach and its reliance on rational argument. In more casual speech, by extension, "philosophy" can refer to "the most basic beliefs, concepts, and attitudes of an individual or group".
The word "philosophy" comes from the Ancient Greek φιλοσοφία (philosophia), which literally means "love of wisdom". The introduction of the terms "philosopher" and "philosophy" has been ascribed to the Greek thinker Pythagoras. A "philosopher" was understood as a word which contrasted with "sophist". Traveling sophists or "wise men" were important in Classical Greece, often earning money as teachers, whereas philosophers are "lovers of wisdom" and were therefore not in it primarily for the money.

I never actually know how to write this essay properly. The topic is simply too big to be handled at one go.

Should one go for business or employment? I see great examples in people doing well in business, I also see examples in people doing just as superb if not better than those in business. So what's the defining moment?

Ultimately, I realized that I can only speak for myself. I can't speak for anyone else. To me, going into business is a long, long road to success. It takes a lot of effort and pain to arrive at a particular point. I think it is no less easy for the master employees. What excites me into business is the lure of creativity. In business, I am free to create anything of my choice, whereas in employment, I can only do someone else's calling. It may not be bad, but necessarily limiting. That being said, I also met many people who hit mid-career crises and deeply needed a way out of their current "boring" jobs. They felt that the job is so repetitive that they just wanted to change their environment. It is not because they are not good at what they are doing, in fact, they usually out-perform their current capacity. But, limiting them to go further are usually the artificial glass ceilings and limited coporate sizes.

In the end, I felt that moving along the business path is more fun for me.

In the business settings, I set targets that are not only 5 years from now, but 10 years from now and even 50 years from now. I may or may not be able to see the objectives so far ahead, but the chosen business types must reflect that thoroughness in the philosophy of things to come. Anything less exotic are removed or not considered to be taken up.

Take for example, wine making as a passion business. This project easily will last a lifetime of trial and error, simply because wine making is still essentially an art rather than a science. Because wine making itself is extremely sexy, no heir will reject its inheritance, unlike a chow-kueh-teow store. Given time, it is no surprise that it will fruit beyond its wildest dream.

Another bigger example, land acquisition and development, it also easily last more than 5 decades to a century to see some of the more decent infrastructures being built. Again, no heir will reject the ownership of land.

Farming is also another very interesting passion business. But, I will reserve its comments in another essay.

Anyway, I didn't do justice to this topic. Deep down, I know I have to think further than anyone else if I want my heir(s) to take over me. Deep down, I know I have to understand the issues of business beyond the current circumstance, otherwise, if the business ever change, my heir(s) will have to deal with greater unknowns.

The return to basics like the land investments is an important philosophy to take. 

Sometimes I wonder how often people take long walks to ponder over the meaning of life? If you don't even stop and ponder what is life and what is living, then why bother to live in the first place?

Each philosophical thought may not add up to much. With practice, you will find it a lot easier to contemplate life's greatest mysteries, i.e., why you can beat the rest in wealth creation?

Well, some said life is not just about wealth-creation. I agreed. But, the finer things in life can only be experienced using wealth, such as flying in an aircraft to an exotic location like the Himalayas for a 3-month vacation or watch an important opening concert in London or laze around in a yacht or waste valuable time writing a blog. Of course, it costs you money and opportunity, but it also costs you time away from your job, which is a truer test of your actual wealth.

It is only through suitable wealth-creation that you can now play with your grand children with the peace of mind knowing that the stewardship of your enterprises are in safe and steady hands of your heir(s).

Take time off for long contemplation and seek the council of the strong. With long contemplation, you will become more philosophical. When you become more philosophical, you will make less mistakes.

My partner-in-crime always tell me, which I agreed, there is always a need to keep record of our ideas. Revisit them frequently. The germination will start soon enough.

When I found a fellow blogger under attack by his fellow ex-countrymen about his foreign citizenship and blog, I felt really sad. Human nature is stinky, i.e., when they find it is impossible for them to emulate the good job of the blogger, instead of learning humbly from his ways. They chose to attack him as a quitter:

"Can you don't politicize every thing that went wrong in your life? Get a grip! You made the decision to give up your pink IC, so be a man and don't whine. Be responsible for your actions. If you are truly happy foreign citizen, why you keep harping about Singapore's system? An axe to grind? Sore loser? What's your motive?" ...

屌你老母 ... How often can you find an Oxonian or a Catabrigian addressing you for free and giving you the heads up for a better future? Zero. Absolutely zero.

This blogger has a heart of gold. He has been there, done that. There is no further need for him to prove anything further. But, yet he chose to blog about how he did it and gave his time to document this process. He is being very patient and extremely kind. In other times, he would have been called a messiah.

Of course, all things said. Emigrating is not for the faint-hearted. There are so many things that can go wrong. One simply has to grit that damn teeth and move along. Some are even without support of loved ones, that feeling I can tell you is not funny.

Proud? You bet. When an immigrant finally made it, I can bet to my last dollar, that guy will be the happiest lark on earth. Let him prize that moment. Let him chew on his good fortune. Let him feel that all his previous shits are worth every cent of it. Let us all rejoice in his happiness.

I don't yet know what those 躝癱s want to achieve in degrading his decades-long good work. Maybe their dog-master wants them to do it to rein the dissidents in or prevent further degradation of their fragile rule.

To emigrate, I repeat, is not for the faint-hearted. What we want is not your respect but your fucking silence! If you think by staying back in that fucken little island is doing you and future generations good, be my guest. You have spoken and you have chosen. May I wish you all the best in your doing your master's bidding and crumps gathering. Don't try to derail those frail lion-hearts. They are working their little magic one step at a time. If you can't contribute to their well-being. Just shut the fuck up! If you are doing your duty as an internet B, then may I wish you and all your future generations be 世世代代男为盗女为娼.

I just heard a fellow ex-countryman just got serious eye infection from working as construction worker in his 60s. He has been in white land for more than a decade. Life is not easy in white land. We don't need your pity, we just need your silence and time to work our magic.

I am a believer of debate. One can get stronger by the council of the strong. If you debate correctly by providing your view of things, I can respect that. If your views are not the same as mine, by all means, I can agree that all of us have a choice. But, if you use half-truths and shaft them down my throat, I can also agree as I am way too strong for you. But, if you try your luck on the weaker ones, be sure, I will shaft the fuck out of you. You don't deserve living on cute earth. I will extinguish your light.

I understand so many bloggers have spoken against the white maggots for suggesting that getting a degree is not important.

屌你老母 ... 生仔冇屎忽 ... These 屎忽鬼 really are living white maggots among the uninitiated people. Bloggers have tried in vain to explain, analyse and suggest in various scenerios on whether a degree is needed or not. In the end, they always conclude that there are true merits in getting the degree.

Frankly I just don't give a damn. I wrote this entry is because I find so much indignation in these 仆街's farts. So irresponsible. So vile. So inhuman to the weak ones. Don't really need to appeal to people's logic. There is none to begin with.

My reason is simple:   If the degree is so useless, why don't those 野仔 from these 冚家剷 don't go to famous universities overseas for their degrees? Stay put in 粉肠 local uni lah. Why give maximum private tuition to these 屎忽仔s so that they can advance in their class ranking?

Once you have achieved it, share it with your loved ones. Veni, vidi, vici ...

b.Price versus Volume Generation

Today marks another beautiful day.

It is so very interesting!!!

My business partner had a very long discussion with me and we discovered that:

Most businesses derive profits from selling volume. To do that, the business will cut price so that they can have a larger business volume. Multiply that by its selling price, the total sale value or volume leadership is always an envy of most other businesses.

But, operating at such low selling price of razor-thin margin, the business lacks the ability to perform research & product development. Sooner or later, general financial crisis will hit the business. The business being poor in product and quality improvement will soon be driven out.

That explained why 3 key and sizable competitors of ours folded this year.

Volume leaders are never the answer to business building.

Ever since we change our business model to price leadership. Our business has grown from strength to strength.

Part 1:   The bigger margin allows us to do research & development of our products. We now achieve better penetration. We are selling much more than before. Instead of producing more per year, we resisted that urge and produced the same amount the following year. We raised price further hoping that the sale volume is just right again instead of increasing year-on-year.

We will continue to increase price until we sell only the amount we have always been selling.

Part 2:   As for those products that we sell less than targeted volume, we increase the quality further in terms of packaging and content, but retain the old selling price. Some time later, we will again achieve the target. Further improvement in products will again grow the sale volume. the mechanism from part 1 is again deployed.

Caveat Emptor:   Product development must be continuous and budget planned for every year.

Sale Volume:   The desired optimal sale volume per product is derived by trial-and-error.

Not many businesses can see through the issue of volume and price leaders effectively. They are always blinded by immediate cash flows and urgent market share issues. Many businesses thought that by selling more and more and the sale volume going higher and higher is the only way to grow. I can emphatically say that they have been mistaken and misled by the market. They will go broke in no time. They will lack funds to build quality products. They will lack funds to weather financial crisis. They will lack business depth to understand market competitors.

This enlightenment is hard to come by. It is derived from years of painful evaluation of many of our competitors.

Business leadership can only be achieved through continuously improving quality, not by lowering price.

p.Family density

Based on Dr Calhoun’s experiment, it is safe to say that high population density will promote deviant social behaviour and if not well managed, may lead to extinction of specie.

This essay talks about family survival. I cannot remember for the world when the idea of one-man-one-wife was started. In that little island it was started sometime in 1965 when that little island took independence. The law was drafted by none other than the wife of the then controller.

This is an important mind-fuck. It caused the man to be no longer able to challenge the controller of the day. Every man will find the woman such a rare and limited commodity that he has to protect that one and only asset. This leads to deadly fights in pubs and watering holes. A simple stare may cost one’s life. The idea behind this is to make the guys so busy bickering among themselves that they no longer have time to challenge the rule of the controller. A very nice ploy, indeed. Meanwhile, the controller fucks his brain’s-out on every scrumptious gal.

By having only one-man-one-wife and the wife taking 50% of the assets if there is a fall-out, it will cause big problem for the guy. The guy simply can’t move.

If one will to observe carefully, the stronger alpha males are likely to sire more kids from multiple females. This is important for the survival of the human species. That is why gals expect the guy to be experienced and great-in-bed even before she sexes him. Why? She wants to have a good time, if possible great time. How can a guy give a gal a great time? Well, it must be earned through multiple experiences. That being said, it must therefore imply that the gal doesn’t mind a guy with multiple female partners provided he delivers his part of the bargain.

In the west, how do they solve this problem? The smarter and richer guys actually take out pre-nuptial agreements on the gal. In the event of a fall-put, the guy is made not too worse off.

I have a personal friend; he has reached a wise old age of 70 years old by now. I knew him eons ago when he was much younger. Over the course of 25 years to 70 years, he had 4 marriages with 3 divorces. I noticed he regularly divorced his current wife after siring 2 kids. And each time he remarried, he would take on a 25-year-old sweet young thing. He has a total of 8 kids. He is a very strong alpha male. In his hey days, he controlled the second largest food chain in his country and still owned a huge house in the heart of the largest city, with a very large swimming pool which he has great difficulty in opening out after the winter and of course many houses for rental income. In a way, he has circumvented his country’s rule of one-man-one-wife by having loads of pre-nuptial agreements and yet at the same time sired enough kids to continue his gene pool. Because he is still very rich, every Christmas gathering is in excess of 30-40 guests. He has a Russian origin.

This is only possible if one is given the space to do so.

On that little island, this is totally not possible. With every decreasing space, there is simply no chance to play the procreation game.

Family Planning

In the west, a new development has come about, I can’t remember when. There is now a possibility of common-law partnership without the angst. The kids sired from it enjoy the same privileges as any other ordinary kids. Many western couples have adopted this idea quite well. In Germany and Sweden alone, almost all are common-law partners.

Hence, based on Dr Calhoun’s experiment, a despot male can handle up to about 12 members of a group (females with babies) and lived a normal life. Therefore, an alpha male with his entire lifespan should have at least 3-8 female full partners, siring at least 1 kid per liaison.

If the guy is poor, then a liaison with 2 female partners is totally possible, siring at least 1 kid per coupling. This is important for genetic diversity.

If the guy is rich, then a liaison of at least 3-5 females is considered normal.

That being said, will the gal be slighted at this multiple partnership? Not at all, notice the number of gals that sexed the chief narcotic officer and chief transport officer. Wouldn’t these gals have self-dignity? Of cos, they simply wanted to sire the best gene pool for their next generation. It is a woman instinct and shall remain so for the survival of the human species.

Family Space

For the above to happen, there must be a family space plan. For each member of the family or new member, there must be a land size of 1 acre reserved for their use.

For example, the guy was to get a gal, give her 1 acre of land to play. When a kid is born, give the kid an acre too. When more kids are born (try to limit them to 2-3 per coupling), give them each an acre to play. Build each a cute house. That way, there will be no quarrel. No gal will fight over the guy’s power.

Teach each of them to fish, so that in the event of enforced poverty, he/she can still survive.

Wouldn’t each gal come to know of each other’s existence? There is no use hiding. Better be truthful from the onset. If you are not strong, don’t play this game. Marry and then divorce. You do have enough time. If you are deemed strong enough, then it doesn’t matter whether there is prior knowledge or not. It simply doesn’t matter in the case of a strong alpha male. Remembering always - honesty is your only true weapon of choice.

Try it! You will be surprised over the reaction from all parties.

When the time comes for one’s passing on, leave the main heirloom to the strongest kid, it doesn’t matter male or female, he/she has to be the strongest to manage the remaining empire.

Why 1 acre?

Although this was derived rather arbitrarily, I did use some measure. On a 1-acre land, one can easily build a 50-apartment low-rise block, with plenty of green left, on which the incumbent can collect rental income for the rest of his/her life. This will provide a baseline survival package for him/her to contemplate his/her next move. Even if he/she didn’t bother about the next move, this property could be passed on to his/her next-of-kin, with no stress. With suitable estate tax planning (it costs about 3-5 years of rental income), the property can be owned forever. As 1-acre is a good sized lot in/near the city, the possibility of multiple type of use is possible. Hence, the suggestion of 1-acre. Anything smaller, waste of time. Anything bigger, can’t afford.

Extreme anger

More often than not, some guys face extreme display of anger from the woman folks. This is simply because the gal doesn't feel justified in the guy's adventurism. In short, the guy is not rich enough to play this game. In that case, the guy has to do it sequentially; even for my Russian friend, he has to play that sequential process too. Some of his wives were directors of large listed companies and professor of a very good university. It was their superior gene pools that interest my friend.

Extreme anger stamped from the fact that the guy was not able to cater for each and every one of the woman folk. There is a resource allotment and compromise issue. This is an unhappy state of affair for the existing woman folks, hence, the ruckus.  Learn to play within one's ability. Then, you will be fine.

For the rare alpha male, it is always fun to see the woman folks fighting for the attention of the alpha male. This is indeed a rare honour. One that defines one's view of a perfect world.

A woman's perspective

Suffice to say that a woman would rather share an alpha male than to own that beta male and labour over his inadequacy.

Emotional scathing of the youngs

Boys are normally not too emotionally attached to the problems from improper bonding of the parents. Hence, supervision need not be too stringent. For gals, this issue is heavier. Extremely close supervision is recommended. But, not too close. They might end up as Annabel Chongs; still, balanced heavier treatment is recommended.

　 　 故 經 之 以 五 事 ， 校 之 以 計 ， 而 索 其 情 ， 一 曰 道 ，二 曰 天 ， 三 曰 地 ， 四 曰 將 ， 五 曰 法 。
　 　 道 者 ， 令 民 與 上 同 意 ， 可 與 之 死 ， 可 與 之 生 ， 而 不 畏 危 也 。 天 者， 陰 陽 ， 寒 暑 ， 時 制 也 。 地 者 ， 遠 近 ， 險 易 ， 廣 狹 ，死 生 也 。 將 者 ，智 ， 信 ， 仁 ， 勇 ， 嚴 也 。 法 者 ， 曲 制 ， 官 道 ， 主 用 也。 凡 此 五 者 ， 將 莫 不 聞 ， 知 之 者 勝 ， 不 知 者 不 勝 。

　 　 故 校 之 以 計 ， 而 索 其 情 。 曰 ： 主 孰 有 道 ， 將 孰 有 能 ， 天 地 孰 得 ，法 令 孰 行 ， 兵 眾 孰 強 ， 士 卒 孰 練 ， 賞 罰 孰 明 ， 吾 以 此 知 勝 負 矣 。 將 聽 吾 計 ， 用 之 必 勝 ， 留 之 ； 將 不 聽 吾 計 ， 用 之 必 敗 ， 去 之 。

　 　 計 利 以 聽 ， 乃 為 之 勢 ， 以 佐 其 外 ； 勢 者 ， 因 利 而 制 權 也 。

　 　 兵 者 ， 詭 道 也 。 故 能 而 示 之 不 能 ， 用 而 示 之 不 用， 近 而 示 之 遠 ，遠 而 示 之 近 。 利 而 誘 之 ， 亂 而 取 之 ， 實 而 備 之 ， 強 而 避 之 ， 怒 而 撓 之， 卑 而 驕 之 ， 佚 而 勞 之 ， 親 而 離 之 。 攻 其 無 備 ， 出 其 不 意 ， 此 兵 家 之勝 ， 不 可 先 傳 也 。

　 　 夫 未 戰 而 廟 算 勝 者 ， 得 算 多 也 ； 未 戰 而 廟 算 不 勝 者 ， 得 算 少 也 ；多 算 勝 ， 少 算 不 勝 ， 而 況 於 無 算 乎 ？ 吾 以 此 觀 之 ， 勝負 見 矣 。 

Some translation suggested: 
"Now the general who wins a battle makes many calculations in his temple ere the battle is fought."
"The general who loses a battle makes but few calculations beforehand. Thus do many calculations lead to victory, and few calculations to defeat: How much more no calculation at all!"
"It is by attention to this point that I can foresee who is likely to win or lose." 

SunTzu put this as the last statement. This is the most important statement which I concur totally. 

In business terms: On the average, I spent at least 8 hours a day discussing with my business partner on the strategic direction of the business. It was through these discussions that new strategic directions were found and executed.

Sometimes, we found our daily routines did affect our discussions. We would then take long trips into the countryside, away from the madding crowd. Amazingly, these long trips gave us one of the best enlightenments in our business direction. Without fail, we always find strong and new action plans. The plans were beautiful and well-conceived.

The amount of time we took to discuss did affect our daily work. But, the sacrifice was well worth it. The daily tasks might take a longer time to complete, but due to correct long term strategic direction, this was our shortest path to success.

Another important aspect of this statement is council. If there is no council, then the business will not work. It is through council that I can find peace. Peace in business is very important as it portraits calmness, strength and resilience.

Many times, I was questioned as why can't a business be absolutely run by a single and strong proprietor? Whenever a business hits a road block, the proprietor needs council and a good listening ear. This sole proprietor will turn to his closed friends to seek solace. Initially these friends will respond, but not for long. These friends' directions are not aligned with that of the sole proprietor's. If the business does well because of the friends' council, the proprietor wouldn't bother to share his spoils with his friends as these friends owned no part of the business; at most he just provides a meal or two. In the longer term, these friends due to their own commitment or constraint or might even feel used, will stop to provide council. The goodwill of these friends has been exhausted fully by the sole proprietor. He will then be shunt by all his closed friends and relations.

Therefore, it is a requirement to have a business partner to participate and share in the business venture. It doesn't need to have many, just ONE.
